Rev. Jim Colvin, Pastor
- Jim is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary, New York City.
- His sermons are thoughtful, passionate and challenging.
- As evidenced by this picture, he has a great sense of humor!
- He is a kind, compassionate pastor with a keen focus on service and community.
- Jim is actively involved in community peace and justice issues, including being a strong leader and spokesperson for the "Save Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center" issues.
- He is a trained psychotherapist and licensed marriage and family counselor.
Fred Fischer, Minister of Music
- Fred has led the music ministry of our church for 23 years as choir director and lead musician
- He is an accomplished organist and a very cool cat as a jazz pianist
- With many musicians friends, he often hosts guest jazz musicians during worship
- Jazz Sunday is typically the last Sunday of each month
- And Fred has a rich, friendly baritone voice!
In Memory of Sleponia (Ponai) Pleasant
Very sadly, Sleponia Pleasant, our church secretary since July, 1999, passed away on January 12th. Although plagued by ill health she was able to maintain her pleasant personality apropos of her name, and she was a highly skilled, caring person in our office. Our deepest sympathy goes to her children, grandchildren and parents.
Francine (Fran) Ioele, Secretary
- Fran is our new church secretary. She has seven years of experience working at a United Church of Christ Congregational Church. Fran is enjoying working with the wonderful Staff and Members of the Congregation.
- Fran is willing to assist you with any questions you might have about our church.
- The office is typically open from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. on weekdays, Monday through Thursday. (Call ahead if you need to make any special arrangements.)
